Welcome to the new TGIF Emergency Response Services Group. This is a group made up of volunteers that are willing to donate their time and the use of their equipment to assist with emergency services across North America.
The next Emergency Services Exercise will be the Total Solar Eclipse on 8 April 2024. Lets prepare now to provide a reasonable presence during this event.
Notes:
1) It is expected that Cell Service/Internet will go down with the influx of people from all over the world coming to see the Annual Solar Eclipse. With this in mind we need to locate alternate WIFI services that we can move to in order to maintain connection to the Emergency Services Network. Locate and set up your hotspot (Now) at free WIFI locations in your area. ie: McDonalds, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, or local restaurants etc. Be prepared to move, should your local WIFI fail.
